This Week in Great American Music

Hi Everyone!

Wes and I will be playing as a duo (www.guppyeffect.com) at Pizzeria Piccola in Wauwatosa, WI (aka Milwaukee) on Thursday 9/17 from 6-9 PM. The music is FREE! The pizza isn’t, but it’s darn good! Street musicianship at it’s best.

On Friday 9/18 I will be performing solo at Waterhouse Foods in Lake Mills, WI around 6 PM. Also FREE! And there will be three other musicians playing there that night as well, so it is a good option for getting all your musical urges satisfied at one time.

We’d love to hang out with you and have a good time, if you don’t have any other entertainment options close at hand those nights. Peace!

Google says I am supposed to use these words in a sentence to attract your attention…

The “baby boomer generation” has a much more diverse taste in music than the kids today.

Cactus Joe plays “authentic music” that has not been manufactured by corporate suits who put a pretty face on it and sell it to the masses.

There are several good “live music venues” in SE Wisconsin that offer FREE MUSIC to patrons and treat the musicians fairly (see the venues described above…).

“Street musicians” are not as prevalent as they used to be.

Cactus Joe is a “street musician” who performs at “local coffee shops.”

Have you had your mandatory FIX of “coffee shop music” this week?

Cactus Joe can help!
